About The Position
What you’ll do: • Repairs, assembles, installs, and maintains production assembly machine systems • Documents all maintenance activity and assists with machine downtime root-cause trouble-shooting activity • Aids in creating both mechanical and software control code standards • Understands pneumatic and hydraulic devices and how these respective systems/components are energized and controlled • Understands AC/DC theory and AC/DC electronic circuits with their corresponding schematics • Understands electronic feed-back sensor devices • Can assemble and terminate (wire) control cabinet and machine components Understands electronic safety devices, light curtains, safety relays, emergency stop circuits, and operator input devices
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Enrolled in a vocational degree (2-3 years
- Self-directed, yet effective working part of a collaborative team
