Conagra Brands in Darien, WI, a local supplier of Birds Eye products, is seeking qualified individuals to fill an Automatic Filler Operator (3rd Shift) role in the Packaging Department. Reporting to a Production Supervisor, you will work on-site at one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees. As an Automatic Filler Operator, you will play a key role in operating and maintaining automatic filler packaging machines to ensure product quality, packaging compliance, and adherence to safety and food handling standards. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Ability to work with an assortment of small hand tools.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Physically able to perform all tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, and working in cold or wet conditions.
- Commitment to following all safety rules and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate automatic filler packaging machines, including supplying product, changing film, checking codes, weights, and seals, and making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records as required.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to meet safety and quality standards.
- Communicate issues or concerns that may affect operations to management promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
