About The Position

The Company is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a complete range of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking and security products. In 2026, DH Pace is celebrating its 100th anniversary in business. DH Pace Company, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona, is looking to hire Automatic Door Technicians & Installers. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, with experience troubleshooting and have good customer service skills. Valid driver's license required with a good driving record.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. independently; the ability to bend, climb, and stand for an extended amount of time.
- 1 year of commercial automatic door experience preferred; experience with small motors and hand tools is required.
- Must be mechanically and technically inclined
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Nice To Haves
- AAADM Certification a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Service, repair, install, and perform maintenance requests on commercial entry door hardware.
- Identify opportunities to sell and quote products/services to customers.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that the job site is clean and clear of debris.
- Provide excellent customer service on every job.
- Other duties as assigned
