Automatic Door Technician
About The Position
dormakaba is seeking an Automatic Door Technician based in Portland, OR. This position will be responsible for the installation and service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices. This position may also service or perform preventative maintenance on automatic doors and related equipment. HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $26.06/hr. - $52.12/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). Requirements
- Valid current driver's license
- 1+ years' relevant experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, or similar industries
Nice To Haves
- AAADM certification
Responsibilities
- Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
- Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
- Communicate with sales and service management about customer needs and sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate project and/or service data through diligent and timely use of all documentation and technical data
