About The Position

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Charleston, WV. This position will be responsible for the install and service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices. HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20/hr - $35/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). Requirements

Valid current driver's license
Experience in mechanical, construction, or electrical field
Physical requirements, including ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience as an automatic door installer or service technician
AAADM certification

Responsibilities

Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
Serve as the lead installer in automatic door installations
Manage assigned parts and consumable stocks effectively, and maintain a neat and organized vehicle and workspace
