Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience with Java, including development of unit tests.
  • Experience working with Spring libraries, development IDEs, and CI/CD frameworks.
  • Experience with software source control and configuration management tools.
  • Experience working in Windows and/or Linux operating systems and in a virtualized environment (managing VMs).
  • Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with integration test framework.
  • Basic Windows administration experience (i.e. Windows Registry Editor, Services, Task Scheduler, etc.).
  • Experience with task automation such as PowerShell.
  • Experience with knowledge management systems.
  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
  • Experience with the Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, SAFe Agilest Certification, or experience as a member of an Agile team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the framework of automated tests on multiple environments for a large complex enterprise system.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automated tests to identify root causes of failures and ensure test reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify testable requirements.
  • Implement automated testing solutions and ensure that the software is testable.
  • Write and execute automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation.
  • Track issues and manage VMs.
  • Use CI/CD tools and have basic system admin experience.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and other related team activities.
