About The Position

You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer Sr for the Sensors and Global Sustainment Line-of-Business, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of production test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and at least 3 years of professional experience, or equivalent related professional experience.
• Experience Supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA's) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling.
• Experience Supporting Software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

Nice To Haves

• Proficient with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Experience and Ability to work in fast based environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for DoD products.
• CAM experience (IMS, BOE) is a plus.
• Prior experience testing Electro-optical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Upgrading and Supporting test equipment hardware and software as needed.
• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues.
• Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions.
• Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting.
