About The Position

Automated Systems Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Manufacturing) What your shift looks like At 7:00, your day (or night) begins. You join a quick production huddle focused on safety, quality, maintenance plans, and continuous improvement. With the roadmap set, you head to the floor—an advanced, highly automated manufacturing environment—ready to keep equipment reliable and production flowing smoothly. Your core focus is proactive care. You work through scheduled preventative maintenance, keep an eye on performance trends, and step in for light troubleshooting when needed. You document what you do, communicate clearly with production, and help junior techs build their skills. It’s a stable, structured operation that prioritizes planning over firefighting. Schedule Night or Day Shift 2-2-3 rotation 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • 3+ years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with exposure to: Electromechanical systems, Pneumatics and hydraulics, Basic electrical systems
  • Clear communicator and effective team player
  • Self-directed with a strong sense of ownership
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance or technical training program (preferred)
  • Robotics or automated equipment (preferred, not required)
  • Basic computer skills (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and track equipment performance
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to reduce downtime
  • Respond to maintenance and production requests with clear, cross-functional communication
  • Keep equipment safe and production-ready through proactive care
  • Coach and support junior technicians and trainees
  • Participate in daily meetings covering safety, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement
  • Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
  • Complete maintenance records accurately and follow established work instructions
  • Lead or support preventative maintenance programs and ensure schedules are met
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area and uphold safety standards
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as part of routine work
