About The Position

Automated Side Load Garbage Truck Driver – Residential Routes 💰 Pay: $23–$24/hr + Overtime Opportunities 🕕 Schedule: Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays | 50–55 Hours/Week Waste Connections is seeking experienced, safety-focused CDL Drivers to join our team in Altamonte Springs, FL, serving residential neighborhoods across the greater Orlando area. Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL License
Clean driving record
1+ year of local route driving experience (waste industry preferred)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude

Responsibilities

Safely operate an Automated Side Load Garbage Truck on assigned residential routes
Use automated controls to lift and empty residential waste containers
Follow route sheets and/or dispatcher instructions for timely service
Transport and dump waste at designated disposal sites
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections (fluids, tires, safety equipment)
Maintain a clean, safe vehicle at all times
Deliver excellent customer service to residential customers
