About The Position

Join Waste Connections of Caprock Waste Located in Lubbock, TX as a CDL Driver and drive your career forward! We’re hiring safety-focused Class A or B drivers to operate waste collection trucks and provide top-tier service to our communities. The ideal driver will have a self-motivated, go getting attitude, that is looking to excel and grow with our GROWING company! We provide trash and disposal services to the local community. You, a vital piece of the team, would be responsible for safely operating a CDL Truck delivering dumpster containers to customers, while providing the best service in the industry.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a satisfactory driving record.
• Class A or B CDL.
• Ability to work Monday – any day of the week starting as early as midnight.
• Physically comfortable with demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Automated Side Load garbage truck on specified routes to collect commercial solid waste.
• Ensure accurate and timely collection and disposal of waste by operating hydraulic systems to empty containers.
• Interact courteously with customers while performing the job.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during collection and disposal.
• Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading waste from front-load containers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck and work area.
• Follow route sheets and service each customer assigned by the dispatcher.
