We are looking for a Automated Equipment Technician to support our SJE Rhombus brand. This role will work out of our New Hope, MN location. Our SJE Rhombus brand is a leading provider of custom circuit board design, firmware and software development, sourcing and inventory solutions, as well as printed circuit board (PCB) assembly. The job: As our Automated Equipment Technician , your primary role will be to maintain manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure optimum performance with minimum downtime and maximum product quality. You will collaborate with the Plant Manager and Manufacturing Engineer to develop and qualify new methods for ongoing production improvement and provide alternative solutions. You will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of production equipment. You will perform scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshoot identified concerns. You may be asked to do other facility-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing facility
  • A mechanical aptitude and experience repairing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience in the development, modification, and fabrication of components and devices for production equipment
  • Worked with processes and equipment to continually improve our methods of production
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and be self-motivated

Nice To Haves

  • A 2-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Technologies, or similar degree is preferred as is 3-5 years of experience.
