Join an enthusiastic and cutting-edge team here at General Motors in the Automated Driving Performance HIL team! ADAS is a rapidly developing domain, deploying multiple new features, subsystems and sensing systems to the vehicle, and a key part of GM’s Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, Zero Congestion vision. This is a great opportunity to join our team as an Automated Driving Performance HIL Infrastructure Engineer! Our group is responsible for a simulation toolchain used to evaluate the vehicle level performance of ADAS control features. The toolchain is anchored in a realistic 3D virtual environment, and represents sensors, physical vehicle systems, and control systems utilizing a variety of hardware (HiL) configurations running in real-time. You’ll partner with software, capability, and program execution teams to move their testing from prototype vehicles to the virtual domain, working on features such as automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, SuperCruise lane centering and more. This role involves simulation capability and toolchain development as well as some program execution support as related to ensuring the team delivers results on time and with quality.
