About The Position

We are looking for experienced survey CAD technicians to perform technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems. The role involves preparing design drawings and specifications for various survey and mapping projects, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and measurements, and applying knowledge of engineering and surveying computations.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Understanding of legal descriptions terminology.
• 1-2 years of computerized design and drafting experience, or relevant education or training.
• AutoCAD 3D experience preferred.
• FEMA Elevation Certificate experience is a plus.

• Experience with FEMA Elevation Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional level technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems.
• Prepare design drawings and specifications for survey and mapping projects.
• Create computerized drawing files and plots.
• Draw line types, arcs, curves, and texts on drawings to complete intermediate level plan and profile type drawings.
• Compile automated drawings from field notes, sketches, or other automated outputs.
• Accurately replicate dimensions, angles, and other precise measurements and specifications.
• Automate design specifications, drawings, and diagrams related to plans, field surveying, construction inspection, and engineering computations.
• Apply knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and computer software in performing basic engineering and survey computations.
• Perform surveys for various types including Residential Construction, ALTA, As-built, Boundary, Bathymetric/Hydrographic, Construction, Development, Environmental, Residential/Commercial, and Topographic Surveys.
