Role Overview We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Engineer to join our team. The role involves performing field verification, updating existing as-built drawings, and creating detailed drawings from scratch. Additionally, you will manage project documentation through SharePoint and collaborate closely with Facilities, Business, and IT teams, as well as coordinate with Cognizant teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and related design tools.
  • Hands-on experience in field verification and updating as-built drawings.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for document management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and facility layouts.
  • Experience with construction documentation and industry standards.
  • Understanding of project coordination and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field verification to confirm existing conditions and ensure drawing accuracy.
  • Update and maintain as-built drawings based on verified site conditions.
  • Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for new projects and modifications.
  • Organize and manage project documentation using SharePoint for version control and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Business, and IT teams to gather requirements and align with project goals.
  • Coordinate with Cognizant teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during project execution.
