About The Position

Collaborate closely with the Technical Services Manager, Fabrication Estimator/Process Engineer, Fabrication Estimator, Draftspersons, Fabrication Planner/Scheduler, Manufacturing Engineers, estimators, and administrative staff Utilize AutoCAD and/or Inventor to develop shop drawings for fabrication and submission to engineers/owners for approval Modify drawings as needed to meet client requirements and specifications Conduct site visits to gather field measurements for accurate drawing creation Apply and maintain company standards and product specifications in all drawings Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while remaining flexible, proactive, and resourceful Anticipate challenges, identify critical issues, and develop creative, practical solutions Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills Exhibit excellent organizational, computer, and detail-oriented skills Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Inventor
  • Demonstrates a strong drive to grow the business, contribute as a team player, and embrace continuous improvement through data and collaboration
  • Flexible and willing to complete tasks independently, delegate when appropriate, and effectively collaborate with all levels of personnel

Nice To Haves

  • BS or associate degree in architectural Modeling and Design, Construction Management, Drafting, or related field from an accredited college is desired.
  • Minimum two (2) years of directly related experience is a plus.
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with specialty fabrication, including custom gates, railings, steel, aluminum, and hardware is a plus.
  • Hands on welding and fabrication experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and computer networks preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel preferred

Responsibilities
