About The Position

We are seeking safety-minded drivers for autonomous vehicles in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. This part-time position offers flexible hours ranging from 10 to 30 hours a week, with many shifts available. The role involves interacting with riders and internal team members daily, providing feedback to improve ride comfort and the overall rider experience, and performing daily safety checks on vehicles. Additionally, drivers will be responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles as needed, driving according to all traffic laws and safety procedures, assisting riders, including those with mobility needs, and documenting activities and observations clearly and consistently. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• At least 3 years of driving experience with a clean record
• Comfortable driving autonomous vehicles
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly
• Comfortable assisting passengers with mobility needs
• Organized, methodical, and good at following procedures
• Able to stay calm under pressure

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronics, mechanical components, or computers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Interact with riders and internal team members daily
• Provide feedback to improve ride comfort and the overall rider experience
• Perform daily safety checks on vehicles
• Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles regularly or as needed
• Drive according to all traffic laws and safety procedures
• Assist riders, including pushing individuals in wheelchairs up a ramp and into the vehicle
• Document your activities and observations clearly and consistently
• Complete other duties as assigned
