Requirements

• 18 years or older, valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• 10 + years of experience in field as an automotive technician.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required and are essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

• ASE A8 – Engine Performance preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Completed vehicle inspection every time and communicates to the front counter the items that may need to be repaired.
• Consistently Inspect and recommend needed repairs and/or services using the vehicles inspection report.
• Proper completion of Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, braking, heating and a/c system, and engine maintenance services.
• Able to perform vehicle alignments according to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Performs vehicle Fluid Exchanges.
• Oil Changes / Air Filters.
• Service customer vehicles according to Commercial Tire guidelines.
• Correctly completing Commercial Tire VIR inspection and documentation processes.
• Recommend products and services when needed.
• Able to quote repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support and track purchasing and returns.
• Supports company safety and operational standards and adheres to all audit requirements.
• Completes all necessary training and maintains certifications (or equivalent i.e., Ford).
• Completes jobs in a timely manner and communicates when there are items that will take longer.
• Assist with phones, front counter, tire, and lube shops, etc.
• Completes all training as assigned.
• Provide own tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
