Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking a Service Advisor with experience in guiding customers through the maintenance and repair process. An ideal candidate should have knowledge in the automotive industry to advise customers on vehicle maintenance, recommend warranty protections and potential cost savings, schedule service appointments, and provide accurate repair estimates for labor/parts. As the first point of contact for our clients in the service department, Service Advisors play an integral role in representing our commitment to EXCEPTIONAL customer service and automotive care.

Works with customer and technician to identify required maintenance.
Advises customers on necessary and recommended services.
Offers additional services and repairs to customers.
Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer.
Schedules appointments with customer.
Meets dealership's standards for repair and order production.
Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
Other duties as assigned.

Valid Driver's License.
College Degree, High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years of Service Advisor experience in a dealership preferred.
Working knowledge of the mechanical operations of vehicles.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
Ability and knowledge of the Dealership Management System and other web based applications utilized for operations.
