About The Position

The Auto Porter at Ilderton Conversion of Asheville is responsible for the safe and efficient movement and organization of vehicles within the dealership. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry located in Asheville, North Carolina. As an individual contributor, the Auto Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the dealership and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move and park vehicles within the dealership lot and other designated areas.
• Organize and maintain the appearance of the vehicle lot, including moving and arranging inventory as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for potential damages and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and pickup, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
