About The Position

The Auto Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, including employee scheduling, inventory management, and customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills and a focus on meeting sales goals while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Strong leadership and customer management abilities
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of working in a retail environment
  • Acute knowledge of auto parts
  • Highly motivated to provide superb customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales goals set by General Manager
  • Create employee schedules based on payroll hours
  • Manage day-to-day store operations
  • Handle cores and defects
  • Oversee shipping and receiving of merchandise
  • Assemble and fill customer orders to be delivered within a 45-minute window
  • Conduct inventory and cycle counts
  • Schedule contract drivers based on company business needs
  • Answer customer questions and address complaints
  • Perform store opening and closing duties
  • Handle cash, cash counts, and deposits
  • Stock and pull parts as needed
  • Answer phones and maintain cleanliness of the store and front counter
  • Keep the warehouse clean and provide a safe work environment
  • Supervise 1 or more employees and assign work duties as needed
