About The Position

The Auto Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering automotive replacement parts and supplies from retail store locations to customers. This part-time position requires maintaining a clean driving record, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience; motivation to pursue a GED is acceptable.
• Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License (Class E required for Missouri locations) with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer knowledge, including web browsing and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations and interpret data.

• Experience in automotive parts delivery or logistics.
• Familiarity with customer service best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assessing customer needs and evaluating satisfaction.
• Abide by traffic laws and safely operate a delivery vehicle.
• Determine delivery priorities and plan efficient routes.
• Receive and process orders, ensuring completeness before delivery.
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning delivery vehicle through routine maintenance.
• Drive safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Maintain a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Check in freight, stock, and retrieve parts as needed.
• Handle cash and credit transactions during deliveries.
• Assist customers over the phone and in-store as required.
• Help maintain store inventory and assist in other locations if assigned.
• Keep the facility clean and organized, including sweeping and dusting.
• Adhere to scheduled work times unless authorized by a manager.
