What you’ll do: Enter and update parts info in our system — part numbers, descriptions, prices, fitment, manufacturer info, and units. Keep part records current (cross-references, supersessions, alternate numbers). Load vendor product lists, price changes, and tech updates into the database. Update stock levels after counts and help reconcile inventory differences. Research and fix data issues using vendor catalogs, OEM docs, and online resources. Support sales and order entry by looking up parts and checking availability. Follow our data-entry rules and do regular checks to keep data accurate. Pull basic reports (inventory, pricing, missing info) for the team. Who we’re looking for: High school diploma or equivalent. Extra coursework in auto tech, inventory, or data is a plus. Around 1 year of data entry or inventory experience — automotive parts/catalog experience is a bonus. A basic understanding of part numbers and fitment is helpful. Skills that help: Detail-oriented and good at repetitive tasks. Comfortable typing (aim for about 45+ WPM). Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUP, filters) and quick to learn new systems. Good at researching and solving minor data problems. Clear communicator and a team player. Can manage time well in a busy environment. Work environment: Office or next to the warehouse. You may occasionally move light boxes/samples. Full-time day shift, with possible overtime during big inventory or catalog updates.
