About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Mopar parts department as a Counter Assistant. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with parts inventory management, and supporting the overall operations of the parts department.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with relevant software.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in the automotive industry or parts department preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a professional and timely manner.
Identify customer needs and provide accurate information about parts and accessories.
Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Stock shelves and organize parts effectively.
Assist with receiving and processing incoming parts shipments.
Locate and retrieve parts for customers and technicians.
Process customer orders, including special orders and backorders.
Verify part numbers and pricing information.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to expedite orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
