About The Position

DeVivo Fleet Services has an opening for a full-time, first-shift Automotive Paint Technician at our body shop in Middletown, CT. The technicians primary responsibility includes providing an exceptional and successful customer experience through meticulous refinishing to ensure a quality refinished repair of each customers vehicle to restore it back to pre-accident condition. Your fleet is one of your most valuable business assetsand keeping it productive is essential. Requirements

  • 2+ years experience the automotive/truck/bus spray paint field
  • High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
  • Be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment
  • Drivers license
  • Basic computer skills to log in and out work orders

Nice To Haves

  • I-CAR or ASE training will set you above the crowd

Responsibilities

  • Review body work for quality and completeness as it arrives in the paint department
  • Thoroughly mix, color match, and refinish each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition using paint management software
  • Complete all refinish operations as described in the work order
  • Efficiently use and maintain paint material inventory
  • Consistently utilize all required safety equipment, properly dispose of hazardous waste
  • Attend/collaborate with team to meet deadlines
