About The Position

Under close supervision, this position is responsible for general mechanical work. The Auto Mechanic I will perform repair and maintenance of golf carts and assist in maintenance of automobiles, trucks, tractors, and equipment. Basic duties include tire changes, tire repair, oil/filter changes, belt changes, and basic auto repair. The role also involves road testing vehicles and golf carts, and performing any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Some knowledge of preventative maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
• Ability to learn minor vehicle and equipment repair.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical defects and determine appropriate maintenance.
• Regular prompt attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Ability to get along and promote a harmonious working environment with vendors, supervisors, citizens, and co-workers.

Responsibilities
