About The Position

United Trades of America is a leading labor contractor focused on providing skilled trades within the construction industry. We are currently seeking experienced Auto Mechanics to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of vehicles. As an Auto Mechanic, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that our customers receive the highest standard of care and attention.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto mechanic.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
ASE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Applicants must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug-screening and background check.

Nice To Haves

ASE certification in electrical systems or automotive repair.
Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
Knowledge of computerized diagnostic tools and software.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake services.
Repair or replace faulty parts, such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
Provide accurate and detailed estimates for repair work.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues and repair options.
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
