About The Position

DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington, DC area, with offices in multiple cities, including Atlanta, that Leases/Rents vehicles to Uber, Lyft and other On-Demand or Rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start up culture is a must. Our goal is to deliver superior customer service, respect, expertise and responsiveness to our customers. As stewards of our company, you will be responsible for awarding every customer with a positive rental experience. Auto Repair Rockstar – DriveWhip Needs You! Are you a car whisperer who loves getting vehicles road-ready? Do you take pride in diagnosing and fixing cars like a pro? If so, DriveWhip wants YOU on our team as an Auto Repair Rockstar! As a Mechanic/Fleet Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert keeping our rideshare fleet in peak condition. From routine maintenance to tricky repairs, you’ll make sure our drivers stay on the road, making money, and providing top-tier service.

Requirements

• A mechanic guru with hands-on experience in auto repairs and diagnostics.
• Someone who knows their way around engines, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
• A problem-solver who can think on their feet and tackle challenges head-on.
• A team player who works fast, smart, and with a great attitude.
• A valid driver’s license (because test drives are part of the fun!).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose & Repair: Keep our fleet running smoothly by tackling mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues.
• Preventative Maintenance: Oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs—you name it, you handle it!
• Fleet Optimization: Work with our team to keep vehicles in top shape and ready to roll.
• Tech-Savvy Fixes: Use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and keep repairs efficient.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside our service and operations team to ensure fast, reliable vehicle turnaround.
