Auto Mechanic
About The Position
If you are a mission-driven, compassionate professional with a passion for helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve their best life, we have a place on our team for you! This person will be responsible for the general repair and maintenance of vehicles that are used at Oakwood. They will routinely inspect leased vehicles from Fleet Management and transport to vendors mandated by Fleet for repairs. This position will also maintain and repair equipment such as tractors, mowers and all purpose vehicles. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for keeping track of all parts and tools while work is being completed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to meet criminal background and drug screening standards
Responsibilities
- General repair and maintenance of vehicles
- Inspect leased vehicles from Fleet Management and transport to vendors mandated by Fleet for repairs
- Maintain and repair equipment such as tractors, mowers and all purpose vehicles
- Responsible for keeping track of all parts and tools while work is being completed
