Auto Mechanic I
About The Position
An upcoming retirement is creating a career opportunity for an Auto Mechanic I at Cotton Electric Cooperative, Inc. You'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational oversight of the Cooperative's fleet, including bucket trucks, service trucks, skid steers, tree chipper, and other equipment. This position is classified as safety sensitive in compliance with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act and the Cooperative Policy 306A: Controlled Substances and Alcohol Use and Testing. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CDL license preferred
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in welding (MIG, TIG and stick and fabrication technique) is preferred
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electric diagnostics and diesel and gasoline engines is preferred
