We are seeking the ideal candidate for our Claims Associate opening for our growing insurance company! The Claims Associate will be responsible for assisting the Claims Department in overall productivity. The scope of the position includes ensuring compliance with state mandated handling guidelines and delivering customer service to our insureds, claimants, and agencies. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the claims process, which is vital for customer satisfaction and operational success. As a Claims Associate, you will assist adjusters by directing customers through the claims process and answering claims-related questions. You will develop a basic understanding of the insurance policy in order to answer policy inquiries as they pertain to losses. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining call volume commensurate with unit objectives and assist in handling various ongoing responsibilities of the unit, including unmatched mail, processing tow bills, ordering police reports, and mailing claim checks as needed. Your role will also involve reviewing and issuing vendor payments, attaching approved estimates to claim files, assigning field inspections, and handling total loss titles and POAs. You may also work on special projects as directed by your supervisors.
