About The Position
As an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee at Safelite Group, you will embark on a rewarding career path in the auto glass industry. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment. You will receive comprehensive training that includes both hands-on experience and classroom instruction, equipping you with the skills necessary to install and repair auto glass, recalibrate automotive safety systems, and provide exceptional customer service. The training program lasts for three months, during which you will be paid to learn the Safelite way, ensuring that you are well-prepared to become a certified technician. In this role, you will be part of a nationally recognized team of expert installers, where your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to work independently while also collaborating with your team members. The job is dynamic and requires you to be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be responsible for safely operating a company vehicle and utilizing company-issued tools throughout your workday. Upon successful completion of your training and certification, your pay will be evaluated every six months, allowing you to be rewarded for your outstanding performance.
