About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking an Auto/Diesel Mechanic for a position in Geismar, LA. This position will be responsible for working on golf carts and oil routing for different machines. It is a non-exempt role reporting to the Direct Supervisor / Foreman, with assigned duties according to specific procedures and frequent checks on work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience.
• Must have TWIC card.
• FRC required.
• General gasoline and diesel engine knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work self-directed and alone at times.
• Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Safety equipment as required by the client.

Nice To Haves

• ASME certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various automotive and heavy equipment.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
