The day-to-day duties include maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles on the lot. An auto detailer's job focuses on thoroughly cleaning and restoring vehicles to a like-new condition, both inside and out. A car detailer may complete a variety of tasks during their shift, including vacuuming, washing, polishing, and deodorizing customers' vehicles, and more. Requirements
- Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure a flawless finish.
- Physical stamina: Detailing requires standing, crouching, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Customer service skills: Communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and providing excellent service
- Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques: Understanding the proper use of various cleaning agents and tools
- Patience and perseverance: Detailing can be a time-consuming and meticulous process
