About The Position

Position Summary: To begin learning Laclede standards of quality for product produced at Laclede. This is an introductory training position where you will begin learning the process of programing HMI, how to measure chain and chain assemblies. Focus: HMI Auto Cutter/Trailer Safety

  • Production floor is typically loud
  • Must wear all required PP

Responsibilities

  • Reads orders and follows oral instructions to ascertain how to assemble tire chain assemblies.
  • Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  • Communicates with Material Handler to get the correct components to build assemblies
  • Properly measures chain with the trailer safety hook
  • Sets the control panel for the proper length
  • Package assemblies and communicate with material handler to move the finished product to a location or to the next designated process area.
  • Counts, and records number of units on job traveler and production move ticket
  • be able to report information using the MES station.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
  • Learn how to safely operate welder.
  • Learn how to change out and understand when to use the pyramid blade vs. the standard flat blade.
  • Learn how to setup and operate riveter.
