About The Position

Wonderful opportunity for skilled auto body or aircraft technician in high quality small aerospace repair company. This position can have flexibility in day shift work hours. The company offers great benefits and a low-pressure environment that respects quality of life. You will repair damaged helicopter blades using body filler, commonly called “Bondo”. Pay rate competitive with industry practices. Low cost of living in Northeastern Arkansas near Walnut Ridge, and Paragould, AR. Relocation assistance may be available.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience auto or aviation body work, including body shaping using Bondo.
• Experience with equipment maintenance.
• Record keeping, including some entry of data about paint lot numbers.
• Familiar with the use of safety equipment like respirator, dust mask.
• Must be able to pass Federal DOT drug and alcohol screening.

Nice To Haves

• Spray painting experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged helicopter blades by filling dents and imperfections with body filler (commonly known as 'Bondo') to create a smooth surface for painting.
• Correctly operate hand and power tools such as orbital sanders.
• Mix and apply body filler to fill dents and imperfections.
• Carefully sand the Bondo to achieve a smooth, even surface.
