Requirements
- Experience in estimating collision damage on automobiles and light trucks
- Working knowledge of CCC-1
- Current I-CAR status
- Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills
- Ability to work on a deadline
Responsibilities
- Confer with customers or estimators to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
- Inspect/disassemble vehicles, and test components and systems, using proper tools and equipment.
- Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
- Communicate directly with the estimator or manager so that customers & insurance can be informed if any additional service is needed.
- Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications and policies.
