About The Position
DARCARS Collision Center of Fairfax is now hiring Auto Body Technician/Mechanic $100,000K Plus per year (based on experience) Entry-level technicians are encouraged to apply! DARCARS Collision Center of Fairfax is now hiring an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in high-quality workmanship and want to build a long-term career in the automotive collision repair industry. As an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic , you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodies and components in accordance with manufacturer and dealership specifications and time standards. Requirements
- Entry-level candidates welcome; experienced technicians strongly encouraged to apply
- Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred
- CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred
- Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently
- Team-oriented with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background check)
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive or collision repair experience preferred
- CSI and quality scores above the regional average preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards
- De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail
- Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials
- Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations (including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know)
