About The Position

The Collision Estimator at Fix Auto Tempe is responsible for preparing thorough estimates for auto body repairs, managing customer interactions, and ensuring a smooth repair process. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working autonomously within a collaborative team. The position emphasizes customer service, organization, and the ability to transform traditional operations into a modern, efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and another language.
• Experience in auto estimating.
• Strong sales skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thorough drive-up and photo estimates and discuss with the customer.
• Follow up with customers after initial consultation to book the repair.
• Create a thorough and complete repair plan in consultation with a body tech.
• Provide the CSR with customer updates twice weekly to keep them informed on repair progress.
• Source parts and provide a purchase order to the Parts Manager for ordering.
• Keep the file updated with notes, repair plan updates, and line-matched supplements as they are approved.
