About The Position

The Auto Accessory Installer position at Road & Rail Services involves installing various automobile accessories on new vehicles. The role emphasizes quality and error-free installation, ensuring that all work is performed safely and in accordance with company and customer instructions. The starting pay for this position is $17 per hour, accompanied by a full benefits package.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined
• Automotive lift experience preferred but not required
• Must maintain a valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment
• Meet and maintain all requirements contained in the Conditions of Employment policy

Responsibilities

• Perform all work safely
• Communicate any safety or quality concerns
• Drive manual and standard transmission motor vehicles in accordance with company and customer instructions/procedures
• Inspect all customer vehicles for damage before beginning work
• Confirm all parts, accessory codes and numbers before beginning work
• Inspect parts before installing
• Follow all written work processes
• Conduct post-installation inspection
• Sign off on Quality accountability documentation for every install
• Accountability for hand tools, torque wrenches and light power tools
• Keep work areas clear of waste and debris
