About The Position

The Autism Therapy Assistant position at LittleStar ABA Therapy is a vital role focused on implementing individualized programs for patients affected by autism. The assistant works closely with children, teens, and young adults, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to help them develop essential skills in various settings, including therapy centers, homes, schools, and workplaces. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activities.

Nice To Haves

• RBT certification (if not certified at the time of offer, must be attained during the training period).

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized programs written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Assist patients in learning new skills related to social, communication, vocational, and life skills.
• Provide therapy in various settings including therapy centers, homes, schools, and workplaces.
• Engage in physical activities with patients as needed during therapy sessions.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and other staff members.
