About The Position

The Team Lead partners with the Supervisor to support team performance, quality, and daily operations. This role assists with planning and prioritization, onboarding new hires, coaching staff, and maintaining quality standards. The Lead provides real-time guidance, supports training needs, assists with quality audits, leads team meetings as needed, and responds to escalations. In the Supervisor’s absence, the Lead assumes responsibility for the team's overall operations. The role also supports process improvement initiatives and collaborates with matrix partners across Evernorth Behavioral Health to ensure effective workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a mental health field required; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of internal EBH experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, initiative, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Care Coordinator or Autism Care Coordinator Team experience preferred.
  • Call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily prioritization and operational planning.
  • Coach Care Coordinators to improve performance and quality outcomes.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring of staff.
  • Support quality audits and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and remove barriers to quality performance.
  • Lead or support team meetings and represent the team as needed.
  • Collaborate with matrix partners on workflows and initiatives.
  • Respond to escalated issues and support team accountability.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
