Requirements

  • High school diploma AND Two (2) years of relevant college coursework (Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or related field)
  • One (1) year of experience as an Autism Aide I OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with young children
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and adapt to changing needs
  • Experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Spanish-speaking applicants may qualify for a wage increase
  • Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check.
  • After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing.
  • Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
