Requirements
- High school diploma AND Two (2) years of relevant college coursework (Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or related field)
- One (1) year of experience as an Autism Aide I OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with young children
- Ability to follow established guidelines and adapt to changing needs
- Experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Spanish-speaking applicants may qualify for a wage increase
- Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check.
- After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing.
- Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
