About The Position
Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Autism Aide with the Giant Steps Preschool Program in Utah County. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with autism and contributing to a collaborative, mission-driven environment. With a competitive wage of $17.33–$21.95/hour , you'll play an essential part in helping young learners develop skills that shape their future. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with young children
- Ability to follow established guidelines and adapt to changing needs
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check.
- After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing.
- Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.

Responsibilities
- Support individualized learning plans and assist with classroom instruction
- Encourage social, communication, and behavioral skill development
- Help maintain a structured, safe, and positive classroom environment
- Assist students with daily routines and transitions
- Work closely with teachers and clinical staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care
