About The Position

Provide assessment, treatment, consultation and training to children with hearing loss and their families, and provide consultation and education to other professionals and non-professionals. Applies the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate interactions with staff, patients and families of all ages. Preference will be given to experienced candidates.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of graduate coursework and clinical practice required for ASHA status as Clinical Fellow.
• Experience in pediatric diagnostic or treatment settings.
• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Washington State license in Audiology or Speech Language Pathology.
• For CFY applicants; Washington State Department of Health Interim Permit to train as a speech-language pathologist with successful completion of CCC requirements within 12 months of start date.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Sign Language.
• Experience working with 0 to 10 year old children with hearing loss.
