About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Auditor I to join our team, responsible for conducting corporate audits. The role involves auditing internal controls across various company operations including accounting and other areas as directed by senior management.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in audit, internal audit, and accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP.
  • Understanding of SOX compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Audit internal controls in all company operations including accounting, operations, and others as determined by senior management.
  • Assist in identifying business risks and develop methods for evaluating those risks in collaboration with leadership.
  • Assist in the investigation of potential integrity situations.
  • Generate and analyze various reports and data analytics, including detailed reports of audit findings.
  • Perform checks, reconciliations, comparisons, and verifications of transactions in line with approved audit programs.
  • Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
  • Perform testing for Sarbanes-Oxley and JSOX requirements.
  • Supervise auditing of establishments and determine the scope of investigation required.
  • Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures.
  • Examine records and interview workers to ensure recording of transactions and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Examine whether the organization's objectives are reflected in its management activities and whether employees understand the objectives.
  • Make recommendations to correct unsatisfactory conditions and improve controls and operating efficiency.
  • Perform work in accordance with accepted professional standards.
  • Make informal presentations to management during and at the completion of examinations, reporting asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
