The Auditor - Assurance - FAAS - Manager position at EY involves assisting corporate clients with strategic accounting and financial reporting challenges.   • Assist corporate clients in addressing strategic accounting and financial reporting challenges.
  • Provide financial accounting, audit, and advisory services to corporate clients.
  • Examine and analyze financial records to prepare financial reports.
  • Assist clients in translating complex accounting and financial reporting issues into solutions.
  • Identify changes leading to accounting and reporting challenges, including regulatory reform and transactions.
  • Work on GAAP conversion, commodities, and hedging with a team of professionals.
  • Advise corporate clients on business, operational, and financial matters related to M&A activity and IPOs.
  • Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress.
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Law, Management or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience; or a Master's degree in a related field and 4 years of work experience.
  • 2 years of recent experience in providing financial accounting and advisory services to clients.
  • 2 years of recent experience in planning, execution, and reporting of audits for financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAS and U.S. GAAP.
  • 2 years of recent experience in supervising financial accounting and advisory services teams consisting of two or more staff members.
  • 2 years of recent experience with SEC financial reporting.
  • Active US CPA certification or foreign certificate in accountancy with sufficient coursework/experience to obtain US CPA certification.
  • Experience with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Strong business development skills.
