About The Position

Responsible for auditing daily casino operation information, preparing and uploading journal entries, and ensuring all non-gaming/gaming revenue streams are accurate. Assist and do what you and your department can to create a fun, exciting entertainment experience for our guests and engaging, inclusive, supportive work environment for our team members.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of auditing, accounting, or casino revenue audit experience
  • Minimum of 1 year gaming experience
  • Knowledge of high-volume cash handling operations
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Maintain high confidentiality
  • Independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • College coursework toward a degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Experience working with a Tribally run casino and/or resort preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conducts daily audits of non-gaming outlets.
  • Conducts daily audits of gaming outlets including Table Games, Cage, and Credit.
  • Conducts daily audits of marketing promotional offers and events.
  • Creates standard operating procedures for audits performed.
  • Creates checklists for audits performed.
  • Maintains, creates, and analyzes spreadsheets or similar data for reporting.
  • Runs and distributes daily audit reports and can read and interpret the spreadsheets.
  • Creates and maintains electronic filing systems.
  • Records all exception findings in an exception log; communicate exceptions back to the departments and team member(s) involved requesting a written response to the exception found including but not limited to procedure on internal control violations, cash variances over a designated amount or missing documentation.
  • Maintains knowledge of all regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Must satisfactorily complete all training assigned by the Resort.
  • Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Little River Casino Resort and of the Finance department.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to the emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to the Resorts Health & Safety Program.
  • Other duties as assigned.
