About The Position
As an Auditor 1 in the Unemployment Insurance Division, you would perform field audits and investigations of employer accounts and records to ensure proper reporting of wages and payments of Unemployment Insurance contributions. Audits or investigations may be conducted at the employer's place of business or at the location of the employer's representative. Duties include, but are not limited to, the examination of employers' financial records, the gathering of information, and the preparation of written documentation. Other duties include contacting employers to collect employer liabilities due the Department of Labor.
