About The Position

Audit Services is an independent, objective assurance or consulting activity within Farm Bureau Financial Services and affiliated companies whose activities are designed to bring a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate, and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. The objectives of the Audit Services Department are to assist the Audit Committees, Management Team, and other managers of the companies in the effective discharge of their responsibilities. This is done by evaluating their risk management, control and governance processing, and discussing issues, risks and appropriate solutions. We are seeking a talented student to be involved and learn the daily activities of an auditor. Requirements

• Must be a current student (junior/senior status preferred) with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be able to live out corporate values of integrity, service, leadership, accountability, teamwork, and passion.
• Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Should be majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems.
• Should be at an intermediate level of accounting, finance, or audit coursework.
• Must be looking for an internship experience from May 2026 through May 2027 (38.75 hours per week in the summer and 10-20 hours per week during the school year).

Responsibilities

• Participate in process walkthroughs to evaluate financial statement risks/controls.
• Document walkthroughs and support staff in the completion of control testing.
• Perform administrative functions such as time reporting.
• Engage in an 80/10/10 work approach: 80% in assigned work area, 10% in other areas within the division, and 10% in shared experiences across the organization.
