In between the audits scheduled throughout the year, you will be working in-office in our Milwaukee location. Audits require domestic and international travel approximately 35-40% of the time. Requirements

  • Ideally 3+ years of audit experience preferably with international exposure.  A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA a plus but not required.
  • Integrity and professionalism to drive results the right way.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), corporate accounting processes, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and internal control assessments.
  • Well-rounded business acumen with critical thinking skills and curiosity to learn.
  • Experience with data analysis skills, process improvement, and a collaborative mindset to drive positive change.
  • A results driven attitude and strong demonstration of time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • You will embark on pre-scheduled site visits and special projects in locations around the world, from California to Paris, Turkey, Brazil, Thailand, and New Zealand.
  • Conduct audits of Sensient’s operating locations across the globe through risk assessments, planning, and fieldwork.
  • Test and document control design and operational effectiveness
  • Evaluate control deficiencies for potential impact.
  • Perform root cause analysis to determine appropriate management remediation actions in accordance with Company policies and standards.
  • Communicate your findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify new practices which can be leveraged to better Sensient’s procedures.
  • Perform special projects as needed to advise on the design and implementation of new policies, processes, and systems that will improve governance, risk management, and control processes.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives that enable compliance with IIA standards and advance capabilities.
